The Roots of Risk Management Consulting Recognized by Risk & Insurance®

The Society of Risk Management Consultants takes great pride in its heritage and is forever grateful to the pioneers of truly independent risk management consulting. For that reason, we were genuinely pleased when Risk & Insurance® chose to publish two articles about some of our industry’s oldest firms all of which have or have had principals belonging to our organization or one of its predecessor organizations. One article appeared in the October 15 edition of the magazine and the other appeared in the online publication of Risk & Insurance® at the same time.

The practice of independent risk management consulting dates back to the late 1800s and the Society of Risk Management Consultants is forever indebted to the individuals who dedicated themselves to serving only the interests of their clients. That dedication and independence is the very foundation on which our organization has been built.
